Welcome to our new Aboriginal Development Officer Jimmy Driscoll who commenced on 30 March 2021, and will be working 4 days/week – Tuesday to Friday.
Jimmy brings strong communication skills as well as project management and engagement skills which he’s gained from working in the Sport and Recreation field in the Northern Territory and Services Australia.
Jimmy is currently getting up to speed on all things CHSP and HACC-PYP. Reading the manuals, and learning a whole other language with all the acronyms – so to speak!
Please welcome Jimmy to the team.

The Sector Development Team have engaged Groupwork Centre to deliver Facilitation Training for Social Support Group Staff.
The training will cover aspects of developing skills in practical facilitation, maximising group participation and managing hot spots.
There are 18 places available, and we will be taking Expressions of Interest in order to assign attendance in an equitable manner.
There will be initially one place available per organisation – and a waitlist will be created for other interested staff.
Should we receive more than one EoI from an organisation, we will consult with the manager regarding the offer of attendance.
As discussed, participants must commit to attending all four sessions, and there is a small charge to attend.
Please refer to the full details, dates and costs here: Facilitation Training for SSG Staff Register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday 23rd April.
